Brighton ace Yves Bissouma ‘the player Thomas Partey wishes he was’ and is ‘exactly what Manchester United need’, talkSPORT told
Adrian Durham believes Yves Bissouma ‘is the player Thomas Partey wishes he was’ and is ‘exactly what Manchester United need.’
The Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder moved to the Amex Stadium in 2018 and has been a revelation under Graham Potter as his development has progressed.
At the age of just 24, the ceiling of potential for the Mali international continues to rise and his star performances against some of the bigger clubs have attracted serious admiring glances.
On Monday night he was the star man yet again, even with the likes of James Rodriguez and Gylfi Sigurdsson on the pitch, and the Drivetime team were effusive in their praise of the midfielder.
In fact, Durham insists every single team in the Premier League would want the former Lille man, saying he’d be a perfect signing at Old Trafford.
“He gets into every single team,” said talkSPORT host Durham. “He is the player Thomas Partey wishes he was.
“Seriously, he even gets into Manchester City’s team and I appreciate they have got Fernandinho. But he is better than Rodri and he would get into Manchester City’s team.
“He is EXACTLY what Man United need.
“I saw him, for the first time live, they lost to Spurs 1-0 at the new stadium and he was sensational.
“He was so good at reading everything, controlling everything, setting the tempo and he has got better and better since then.
“So I can see him going to any club.”
