Hafthor Bjornsson tells Eddie Hall to book an MRI for his knockout plans after Simon Vallily exhibition fight
Hafthor Bjornsson has told Eddie Hall to book an MRI scan as he plans to knock him out in their boxing match.
The two big men will face off against each other in the ‘heaviest boxing match in history’ in Las Vegas on September 18.
And Bjornsson, who is known as Thor, is confident of knocking Hall out.
On his Instagram page, he wrote: “@eddiehallwsm, schedule an MRI now, because I’m knocking you out this September.”
In a warm-up exhibition match against Simon Vallily earlier this week, Bjornsson staggered when being hit with a left hook.
Bjornsson, who is well-known for playing The Mountain in Game of Thrones, also hit the deck in round three when he was accidentally tripped.
The pair embraced at the final bell as The Mountain will turn his full attention to Hall.
Bjornsson and Hall, two former World’s Strongest Men winners. have been exchanging strong words for some time and will settle their differences in the ring.
In preparation for the showdown, Hall has undergone an incredible body transformation.
Back in 2017, Hall weighed 197kg and is now tipping the scales at a much leaner 161kg, a difference of 36kg.
On his weight loss, he said: “Cardio training for big guys is unique, you have to adapt it so that you don’t lose muscle and you don’t tire out.
“Using methods to not only improve your cardiovascular system but also help your body to recover after weight sessions by shifting lactic acid, helping the tendons, ligaments and muscles to repair.”
