Israel Adesanya sent an X-rated message to bitter rival Jon Jones after admitting he will go back down to middleweight following his defeat to Jan Blachowicz.

‘The Last Stylebender’ was hoping to become the quickest fighter in history to win two world titles at UFC 259 when he faced the defending light-heavyweight champion.

Despite moving up in weight with consummate ease, the size difference became more and more apparent as the fight wore on.

Blachowicz scored two huge takedowns as the fight entered the championship rounds and retained his title with a unanimous decision against the middleweight king.

Speaking at the post-fight press conference from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Adesanya admitted he would return to 185lbs – ruling out a light-heavyweight bout vs Jones – and he had a few choice words for ‘Bones’ too.

“Never say never,” he said about a super-fight with ‘Bones’. “Never say never.

“But right now, I’m going back down to 185 and getting my work done. But f*** that n***** anyway.”

Former light-heavyweight champion Jones was constantly goading his rival throughout the fight on social media during a constant tirade.

“Can’t wait to make that b**** eat his words,” he wrote. “Yeah never mind, that’s not even worth my time.

“If you ever wrote me talking s*** about Izzy beating me, slap yourself.”

While the two men bickered online against one another, Blachowicz celebrated his convincing victory in Sin City by enjoying the moment.

He said: “I just want to represent my country. Represent maybe not only my country, but just true sport and the legendary Polish power.

“I’m proud that I can show the whole world the legendary Polish power.

“I stopped listening to what people say. For me, the most important thing is what my family says, what my coaches say, what my friends say.

“What people that I never see in my life and what they say? Who cares? Now I would listen to them, what they say after this fight. This is something important for me. Before the fight, I don’t care. After the fight…

“When I’m the underdog everybody says ‘he doesn’t have enough to win the fight’. After I won, what do you say now? But anyway they are going to say it was luck or something like this… I don’t care.”
