Jake Paul reveals how many times Floyd Mayweather punched him during brawl and tells brother Logan ‘the guy doesn’t hit hard’
Jake Paul revealed that Floyd Mayweather caught him twice in the infamous brawl where he got under the legendary boxer’s skin.
Jake stole Mayweather’s cap and proudly shouted, ‘got your hat,’ sparking a brawl which left the 50-0 fighter furious.
The legend is set to face Jake’s brother Logan Paul in an exhibition fight on June 6 in Miami, and the incident happened not long after the first face-off between the pair.
The younger Paul brother, who is 3-0 as a professional boxer having knocked out Ben Askren in his last fight, was left sporting a black eye after the brawl.
Speaking about it in an interview with Showtime Sports, Logan Paul said: “I think it was a straight two. I think it was a straight right hand. He got a black eye. I think it’s cool though.
“How many people can point to a black eye and say ‘Floyd Mayweather punched me in the face?’”
His brother, Jake, cleared up what happened and said: “It was an uppercut. You hear it smack. His bodyguards were holding me back and my face was like this and he’s just like ‘what the f***?’ And hits me with an uppercut.
“He freaks out and says he wants to kill me and it’s pretty hilarious.”
He added: “I told me brother this, the guy doesn’t hit hard.”
It was announced earlier this month that the bizarre exhibition contest between the 50-0 boxing legend and the 0-1 YouTuber will be broadcast on Sky Sports Box Office PPV in the UK, costing £16.95.
