Meghan Markle warning: ‘Things need to be said’ to Duchess as royals yet to ‘address’ her | Royal | News
Issues regarding Meghan Markle’s time in the Royal Family “haven’t been addressed” according to an expert. ABC News Royal Contributor Omid Scobie warned that the Duchess of Sussex’s “journey” had to be acknowledged in reconciliation efforts. He joined the Royally Obsessed podcast to speak about how Prince Harry’s brief visit had helped to settle some of the tension.
Mr Scobie told listeners: “We have heard from sources that William and Harry did continue their conversation that day, as did Prince Charles.
“While conversations did continue in some capacity, I haven’t heard anything about deep discussions about any of the issues.
“There are so many gaps that will perhaps be filled over time.
“These are those steps forward that, at the very least, matter massively.”

He continued: “But I would also think that there needs to be a conversation that involves the Sussex family and individuals.
“This isn’t just about Harry and William, this is also about the journey that we heard from the Duchess of Sussex.
“And perhaps some of the things that haven’t been addressed in that.
“That are many things that Harry can talk about with people.”
Mr Scobie told the podcast: “This has probably been one of the most personal weekends that the Royal Family have had in a long time.
“That meant there were a lot less staff around them.
“I would imagine that that would lead to a lot less leaks about the conversations that took place.
“That’s great, it’s definitely what they need.
“More of that would certainly benefit them.”
